About Jason Hoffman Studios

Jason Hoffman Studios is an artist-run workroom specializing in

  • Unique tables/furnishings, influenced by structural features of bridges and string instruments, whose design emphasizes the strength and integrity of its architectural origins.
  • Segmented woodturnings from fine hardwoods of different colors and textures  that have been glued together, giving the surface of the finished pieces variation and depth.
  • Commissions working closely with clients, visualizing, designing and realizing their ideas in bespoke home furnishings, cabinetry, built-ins, bar design, carpentry, public sculpture,
  • Multi-media inspirational sculpture focused on healing, ties to the natural world and the power of aspiration.

The Studios have been in operation for over 15 years, realizing their full range of projects after I completed my Fine Arts degree in 2005.  In recent years I have also pursued my interest in curatorial activities, working as an art preparator for University Galleries in Normal, Illinois and acting as co-curator for numerous exhibits integrating 2D and 3D works at the Lincoln Art Institute, Lincoln, IL.
